You all know the Dixon Earth golf ball as the world’s first eco-friendly high-performance golf ball. The stats are incredible, and the player response has been even better. For all intents and purposes, the Dixon Earth golf ball should be the ball of choice for nearly all golfers as it not only improves the environment, but also improves their game.
With the expected release dates for the Wind and Fire balls approaching, I have often been asked the question, “Why release more balls when the Earth has it all?” I have also been asked to explain what the Wind and Fire will add.
Let me start by stating that the Wind and Fire balls have the same eco-friendly characteristics as the Earth ball. The Wind and Fire are 100% recyclable and do not contain the heavy metal pollutants that threaten our environment. The Wind and Fire balls will be accepted through the same recycling incentive program as the Earth ball.
With that being said, let’s talk about what the new balls add.
First, the Wind ball has been designed for the player that wants to get the maximum distance out of his or her shot. It was built specifically for the likes of three-time world long drive champion Sean Fister. For the golfer with the right swing speed, the Wind will be the longest ball on the market.
The Fire ball has been designed for professional golfers that have high swing speeds and demand maximum control around the greens. Quite simply, this will be the best golf ball for the best golfers in the game.
The Earth ball will continue to be the ball of choice for the vast majority of golfers. Even some of the professionals that play the Earth ball now will stay with it. Nevertheless, we are excited to have these new options available as now every golfer that plays the game will be able to benefit by switching to a Dixon golf ball!
